I'm Ritesh, a Cyber Security Engineering student with a passion for defending systems, investigating threats, and building practical security solutions.
My primary interests lie in Security Operations (SOC), Threat Detection, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics.
I spend much of my time building home lab environments, configuring SIEM platforms such as Wazuh, analyzing logs, exploring attack techniques, and developing detection and response workflows.
I believe the best way to learn cybersecurity is by building, breaking, and understanding how systems behave under real-world conditions.
I'm currently seeking internship opportunities where I can apply my skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and continue growing in SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response.

CyberFest'26 was the flagship cybersecurity technical fest organized by the Department of Cyber Security at KCG College of Technology, bringing together students from multiple institutions for hands-on cybersecurity competitions and learning. As a core organizing team member, I played a key role in planning and executing the event while managing the NYX-CTF, where I designed, deployed, and maintained challenges across domains such as web exploitation, reverse engineering, steganography, OSINT, and digital forensics. The event provided participants with a realistic, competitive environment to develop practical cybersecurity skills.
